Currently we are developing a cross-platform mobile application for European Consumer Organization. The application is targeted to enhance the shopping experience of consumers making it easier for them to buy the right product. Its a large application with many useful features like barcode scanner, store locator, price comparison, product reviews, product browing & search, social community and geolocation. We are using PhoneGap & JQTouch to build a single application which works on iPhone, Android and Blackberry. The application will be released in 6 different versions, one for each country in which European Consumer Organization operates.
