From their website, 'Giddi is a product rating engine designed to help consumers make better purchasing decisions'. For Giddi, we made a customized product catalog having more than 600k products and 1.6 million reviews distributed across 250+ categories. We accomplished the complete backend part of the project which involved aggregating the product catalog with product description, images, specifications, reviews, etc by consuming API's of amazon.com, shopping.com and cnet.com. We also managed to make data update facility in the engine and optimize search query time by intelligent caching of search results.
